Unorthodox - Stories of Escape

On Thursday 4 June we hosted our first live virtual event. With all the warranted buzz around the Netflix hit series Unorthodox we brought together local and international writers and activists to discuss the series and their own personal journeys. For the first time on the same panel we had – author of Unorthodox, Deborah Feldman, trans-activist and author of Becoming Eve Abby Stein and local activist and soon to be published author Dassi Erlich. Hosting the panel was satirist, author and documentarian John Safran.
